Albert Chiddick-from the 'Caribbean SuperStars'
Albert was playing steel drum music at the early age of 5 in his birthplace of Trinidad, where steel drum music was originated. He traveled all over the Caribbean Islands playing and competing in some of the biggest bands known, like Pan Am-Triperly etc. Albert moved to the U.S. Virgin Island formed and arranged in different bands. IN 1976, Albert relocated to Washington State gain, arranged and played for bands like Tropical Rain Storm, Bacobrata and others. A few years after he formed his own band called Caribbean Super Stars. Here he arranged and created sounds that came through his natural talents and as he said dreams. Albert's music brought so much joy and peace to so many people the way he played his pan and the energy he put out, no one could believe all that music came from his pan. Everyone would call his music happy music because that's the feeling they felt after hearing it. His music and family was his life. Albert told his family that he had a vision of them carrying on his music; hence the name CARIBBEAN VISION. When you hear the sound sound of the steel drum music you can't help but to think about Albert. On Aug. 2001, Albert Chiddick went to a better place but his music still lives on through his family. We would like to carry on his vision given the opportunity. "He will always be remembered by family, friends, and those who felt his music."
